Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar visited Organized Crime Unit Headquarters Township. CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana, Additional IG Operations Shahzada Sultan, DIG Operations Waqas Nazir were present on the spot. DIG Organized Crime Unit Captain Retired Liaqat Ali Malik gave a visit to the newly constructed organized crime unit headquarters and gave a briefing on professional matters.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed to speed up the crackdown against the dangerous criminals involved in serious crimes like menace of drug, professional shooters, proclaimed offenders, extortion mafia and land grabbing etc. IGP Punjab directed that intelligence-based combing operations should be conducted on a daily basis to eradicate organized crime. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that anti-crime operations should be continued uninterruptedly through effective use of drone cameras and other modern technologies. He directed that targeted operations should be expedited to eradicate habitual and professional criminals and anti-social elements.IG Punjab directed DIG Organized Crime Unit to personally monitor the intelligence-based operations to arrest the high-profile criminals and for the elimination of serious crimes, full coordination operations should be accelerated.SSP Operations Lahore Syed Ali Raza, SSP Nida Umar Chatta, SP Furqan Bilal, SP Aftab Ahmed Phalrawan, SP Imran Karamat Bukhari and other officers were also present on the spot.
