IG Punjab directed the to provide relief by completing the investigation of citizens' cases as soon as possible.
Admin, discipline, and welfare branches should provide relief to the force by timely completion of the official application.
Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that delay in FIR registration on the applications of citizens will not be tolerated, legal and departmental action will be taken against the responsible. IG Punjab directed that the investigation of the cases should be completed as soon as possible with full transparency and impartiality to provide immediate justice to the citizens. IG Punjab said that solving the problems of the citizens is the first priority in which any shortcoming will be intolerable. He expressed these views while giving instructions during an open court held at the Central Police Office today. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar listened to the problems of the citizens in the open court and issued orders for relief while taking action on the submitted requests. Dr. Usman Anwar sought reports from the concerned supervisory officers on the applications of the citizens.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar also listened to the applications submitted by the police employees and their families in the open court. IG Punjab ordered the admin, discipline, and welfare branches to give relief to the officials according to their merits on the requests of the force. IGP said that the applications related to health welfare should be sent to the Central Police Office with complete documents. IG Punjab said that for the relief of citizens and force open court is being held on a daily basis in the Central Police Office, Citizens can also send their application and complaints via calls, email and online too.
