No compromise should be made in materials and quality of the construction projects, IG Punjab
All development projects, including Special Initiative Police Stations, Safe Cities, will be completed within the stipulated period, said Dr. Usman Anwar.
Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar visited Elite Training Centre Bedian Road and reviewed the fast-paced construction work in the training centre. Dr. Usman Anwar inspected the construction work of the hostels for the residence of under training officers and officials. DIG Elite Sadiq Ali Dogar and SSP Elite Nida Umar Chatta briefed the IG Punjab about the under construction projects. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed that no compromise should be made in the material and quality of construction projects. IGP directed the additional IG elite to ensure the best modern advanced training and residential facilities for elite officials at the training centre.IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that all development projects, including Special Initiative Police Stations and Safe Cities, will be completed within the stipulated period. Additional IG Welfare and Finance, Additional IG Punjab, Additional IG Elite, MD Safe City Authority, DIG Elite, SSP Elite, AIG Admin and other officers were present on the spot.
Later, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar visited various police stations in Lahore and inspected the construction works. IG Punjab Dr Usman inspected Gulberg Police Station, Model Town Police station, and SDPO Office Model Town. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar instructed to complete the construction and upgradation work in the police stations within the fixed timeline. IGP directed that all the police stations of the provincial capital should be transferred to the Special Initiative Police Station protocol by December 31. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar reviewed the work of construction of pasban center at the SDPO office. DIG Operations Lahore and SSP Operations Lahore briefed the IG Punjab about the ongoing work. IG Punjab said that no compromise should be made on the quality standard during the construction work.He stressed that all supervisory officers should complete all work as per the issued SOPs within stipulated time under personal supervision.
