IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar gave important instructions to the new promoted DSPs about their supervisory role

 

Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar organized a special ceremony at the Central Police Office to pin the promotion ranks to newly promoted DSPs. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar along with other senior officers pinned the ranks to 30 police officers who were given promotion to the post of DSPs. The families, children and relatives of the promoted officers specially participated in the ceremony.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar while giving important instructions to the new DSPs about the supervisory role said that all officers should focus on modern police Apps and should make the IT-based policing techniques an integral part of their working. IGP Punjab said that expectations have increased from the promoted officers about professional responsibilities, impartiality and better behaviour. Dr. Usman Anwar, said that registration of FIRs is the main thing, in which action against those responsible for delay is the responsibility of DSPs. IG Punjab said that the Punjab Police will create an Organized Crime Department headed by the Additional IG, the Punjab Police will be strengthened and the performance will improve with the new Safe City projects and the Organized Crime Department. Dr. Usman Anwar said that the promotion board for promotion to the posts of DSPs Traffic will be held soon, the new DSPs reiterated their commitment to make public service delivery more easy. Additional IG Welfare and Finance, Additional IG Punjab, DIG Establishment, DIG Special Branch, AIG Discipline, AIG Admin and other officers were also present on the occasion.
