Punjab Police and private organization agreed to support each other in operations , legal assistance and protection of children and women.
Punjab Police and private welfare organization together will provide a safe environment equipped with all facilities for housing and support of children and women.

Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is ensuring regular measures for the protection and better future of the helpless, orphans and homeless children,in continuation of which IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has taken another good initiative for the protection, care and education and training of homeless runaway children and women suffering from social problems like domestic abuse.Punjab Police inked an MOU with private organization (Holistic Foster Care) for joint welfare measures. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar and Director of private organization (orphanage house) Mr. Ibtesam ur Rehman signed the MOU in a ceremony held at the Central Police Office.
Under the MOU, Punjab Police and the private organization (Holistic Foster Care) agreed to take mutual measures for the protection, care and training of homeless children and women. Spokesperson of Punjab Police said that Punjab Police and private welfare organizations will together provide a safe environment equipped with all facilities for the residence and support of children and women. All possible steps will be taken to provide psychological support, protection and rehabilitation to children who are victims of social abuse and child labour etc. The private organization will provide full support in running the operations of the Punjab Police's Tahaffuz Manzil project. Joint measures will be taken for the education of children living in Tahaffuz manzil and professional vocational training of women. Spokesman Punjab Police further said that social security measures will be accelerated with the cooperation of other organizations working for children's rights. The private institution will play its full role in the accommodation of the children referred from the police stations, protection centers of different districts and Tahaffuz manzil facility.The welfare organization will provide accommodation, education, nutrition, clean safe environment and rehabilitation to the referred children. Spokesman Punjab Police further said that the welfare organization will design a program regarding the adoption of orphan children to childless families so that these children can be given a safe environment and a better future. Holistic Foster Care will create and organize the skill training and basic opportunity for the children and women. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that more steps will be taken from the platform of Tahaffuz markaz for the protection and care of children suffering from social problems and will provide legal assistance. Holistic Foster Care Chief Operations Officer Hira Javed, Social Worker Zufishan Anushe, DIG Headquarters Humayun Bashir Tarar, AIG Admin Amara Athar, SSP Investigation Lahore Dr. Anush Masood were also present.
