Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar expressed his displeasure over the delay in solving the problems of the citizens and issued orders to the officers to solve them immediately. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, while giving a warning to the concerned supervisory officers, said that deliberate delay in redressal of citizens' applications cannot be tolerated under any circumstances. IG Punjab said that speedy delivery of justice to the common man is the top priority and any lapse in this regard is unacceptable. Dr. Usman Anwar directed that all DPOs should ensure prompt redressal of complaints sent from the 1787 Complaint Center and Central Police Office. These views were expressed by IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar while giving instructions to the officers in an open court held at the Central Police Office.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar held an open court at the Central Police Office to solve the problems of the citizens. IG Punjab also sought reports from the concerned supervisory officers on the applications of the citizens. In open court, IG Punjab also heard the applications submitted by the police employees and their families. IG Punjab further said that citizens can send their any applications related to police through the 1787 Complaint Center.
