Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has appreciated the DIG Investigation Lahore Imran Kishwar and his team for arresting the culprits who injured students by firing on a bus in Sunder Multan Road Lahore. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the real formula of crime control is speedy conviction of the criminals from the courts with the best investigation after arresting them. IGP Dr. Usman Anwar said that officers of the Investigation wing should focus on solving the cases with effective use of modern forensic investigation skills, latest technology, utilizing their expertise and experience. Dr. Usman Anwar further said that the encouragement of capable, dutiful and hardworking officers and officials will remain continue at all levels. He expressed these views while talking to DIG Investigation Lahore Imran Kishwar and officers of Investigation Wing at the Central Police Office.
DIG Investigation Lahore Imran Kishwar and officers of Investigation Wing met IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar. DIG Imran Kishwar briefed about the details of the firing incident on the bus in Multan Road Sunder area. He said that Punjab Police team arrested 06 accused involved in firing on the bus, using CCTV cameras footages and human intelligence. DIG Investigation Lahore Imran Kishwar said that the incident of firing on the bus happened after a bitter argument between the accused and the bus driver on the over overtaking, the accused got angry and opened fire on the bus as a result of which two female students were injured. Investigation team started the investigation with a careful review of all the evidences and solved the high profile case in a short span of time. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar appreciated the DIG Investigation and his team for solving the important case in a brief time.
