On the direction of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the crackdown against the fugitive criminals residing abroad has been intensified, another A category fugitive arrested and extradited*

 

Under the direction of Inspector General Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, the crackdown against fugitives and proclaimed offenders residing abroad is continue without interruption, in continuation of which, another A category fugitive has been arrested and extradited from Oman. Nadeem, wanted in a murder case, was traced and arrested from Muscat. Fugitive Nadeem shot and killed a citizen in Narowal last year. Fugitive Nadeem escaped to Muscat after the incident, Punjab Police traced him and issued red notice from  Interpol for his arrest, the Punjab Police team arrested Nadeem and returned to the country, the total number of proclaimed offenders arrested from abroad this year has reached 143. These criminals have been arrested from America, Great Britain, Europe, Africa, Saudi Arabia and Gulf countries.

 

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar while congratulating the police team for tracing and arresting the A category dangerous fugitive from abroad, said that the legal process should be completed as soon as possible and the criminal should be punished, IG Punjab directed that in serious cases of crime, the crackdown should be intensified to arrest the wanted dangerous criminals and all the proclaimed offenders should be arrested and brought back to the country.
