IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar chaired an important video link meeting at Central Police Office*

 

Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has directed all the RPOs and DPOs to speed up the process of evacuation of illegal foreigners. IGP Punjan said that police teams should ensure the evacuation of illegal foreign immigrants with the help of information based operations in cooperation with Special Branch, CTD, and security agencies. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the security of Chinese experts and citizens working on various projects across the Punjab should be tightened. IG Punjab directed the officers to complete the new police welfare projects within the given timeline and self-assess the progress on a daily basis, Dr. Usman Anwar said that more than 2600 constables this month and 650 constables next month will be promotedaccordingto the mwrit, and will achieve the target of 20,000 promotions from constable to DSP rank by February next year. IG Punjab added that timely completion of special initiative police stations, service centers, police lines Upgradation is a top priority, the process of upgrading all the police stations in Punjab as per the protocol of Special Initiative Police Stations is going on without interruption. IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar directed that RPOs and DPOs should upgrade the special initiative police stations within the given timeline in every situation. IG Punjab further said that police infrastructure should be upgraded according to modern policing requirements. In January, under the Saaibaan project initiative, the first SDPO Saaibaan office will be inaugurated in the province. IGP Punjab said that all welfare and development initiatives will benefit the people in the form of easy and fast service delivery. He expressed these views while presiding over a video link meeting at the Central Police Office and giving instructions to the officers. All RPOs, CPOs, and DPOs of the province participated in the meeting through video link.

 

In the meeting, IG Punjab was informed that an online system based on paperless mechanism has been implemented to complete the welfare cases of the force quickly, due to which the problems of the force are being solved on a priority basis. In the meeting, RPOs and DPOs also gave a briefing regarding the issues under discussion. Additional IG Welfare and Finance Riaz Nazir Gara, Additional IG Operations Shahzada Sultan, DIG Operations Punjab Muhammad Waqas Nazir, DIG Welfare and Finance Ghazi Salahuddin, DIG Establishment One Dr. Inam Waheed, DIG Establishment II Zeeshan Asghar, AIG Operations Dr. Asad Ejaz Malhi and senior officers, including others, participated in the meeting.
