Punjab Police team arrested Muhammad Mehboob from Saudi Arabia and extradited him to back Pakistan.
Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar ordered to continue the crackdown against the fugitives and proclaimed offenders inside and outside the country, in continuation of which, the wanted another dangerous fugitive wanted in the murder case has been arrested from Saudi Arabia. According to the details, Muhammad Mehboob escaped after shooting a citizen in Bahawalpur in 2020.The Punjab Police issued a red notice from Interpol for the arrest of the accused, and continued to follow up on the arrest. Punjab Police team has arrested Muhammad Mehboob from Saudi Arabia and extradited him to back Pakistan. This year, the total number of fugitives and proclaimed offenders arrested from foreign countries has reached to 142.These criminals have been arrested from America, Britain, Europe, Africa, Saudi Arabia and Gulf countries.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar congratulated the police team for tracking and arresting the A category dangerous fugitive from abroad. IGP directed that the legal process should be completed as soon as possible and the culprit should be punished. IG Punjab directed that the crackdown should be intensified to arrest dangerous fugitives wanted in serious cases like murder, robbery, kidnapping and RPOs, DPOs should monitor the crackdown themselves to arrest dangerous proclaimed offenders.
