Police Executive Board meeting was held at the Central Police Office under the chairmanship of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar. Administrative and professional issues related to the working of different field formations of the police were discussed in the meeting. While the progress on police development projects, welfare of the force, pending summaries were also reviewed. Officers participating in the meeting presented suggestions and recommendations about administrative and policy issues. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the proposals presented during the meeting should be finalized and presented for decision-making in the next meeting. IG Punjab directed that departmental promotion board meetings should be held regularly for promotion of more personnel according to merit. Dr. Usman Anwar said that the meeting of Punjab Police Executive Board is being held regularly for better performance of professional affairs. Supervisory Officers should complete all the ongoing projects within the prescribed time line under personal supervision.
Additional IG Special Branch Zulfikar Hameed, Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry, Additional IG Welfare Muhammad Riaz Nazir Gada, Additional IGP PHP Rao Abdul Karim, Additional IG Traffic Mirza Faran Baig, Additional IG Investigation Muhammad Idris and Additional IG Elite Waqar Abbasi, Additional IGIAB Kamran Khan, heads of all other departments, DIGs and other senior officers were also present in the meeting.
