Punjab Police achieved major success against kacha operation, 04 dangerous dacoits were killed in Kacha Machkha operation.
Umar Kosh, Raham Dil shar, Alino Shar and Karmo Kosh were among the robbers who were killed. Heavy weapons were also recovered.
During the operation, 02 bandits Rano Shar and Ghulam Muhammad were injured by Rahim Yar Khan Police firing.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar paid tribute to the supreme sacrifices of constables Muhammad Qasim and Muhammad Irshad who sacrificed their lives in the Kucha Machkha operation.
In Kacha Machka machi and shar tribes exchanged heavy fires over old enmity, Police immediately responded on receiving the information, and a heavy contingent led by DPO Rizwan Umar Gondal reached the spot. Four dacoits were killed in the police action, two injured, rocket launchers were recovered, three people of the Machhi tribe were killed in the exchange of fire between the tribes, a passer-by woman of Sailra community was killed in the firing. Two police officers were also martyred and four injured in the action against the dacoits. Additional IG Punjab Police Maqsood ul Hasan and RPO Bahawalpur Rai Babar Saeed also reached the spot.
According to the details, police station Machka received information that there is a fierce exchange of fire between the Shar and Machi tribes inside Kacha area, on which circle SHOs under the supervision of ASP Bangal Khan Bugti immediately responded with heavy personnel, modern weapons and armored vehicles. Meanwhile, DPO Rizwan Umar Gondal also reached the spot to command the force where the dacoits opened fire at the police with rocket launchers and other weapons. Four dacoits including the notorious and wanted dangerous criminals including Umar Shar, Raham Dil Shar, Alino Shar, Karmo Kosh and others were killed in the retaliatory action of the police and two dangerous robbers Rano Shar and Ghulam Muhammad Shar were injured. While the police officials Muhammad Qasim and Muhammad Irshad of the elite force were martyred in the firing of dacoits, police officials Muhammad Asif, Ghulam Sarwar, Imran and Abdul Razzaq were injured and they were immediately shifted to Sheikh Zayed Hospital for treatment.
Earlier in the clash of tribes, three people of Machhi tribe were killed by the firing of Shar and Kosh gang while a woman of Sailra community was killed in the firing of robbers, on which the police is continuing legal action. The police, under the leadership of DPO Rizwan Umar Gondal, continued the operation action during the pursuit of robbers in the area and the exchange of fire.
DPO Rizwan Umar Gondal said that on the orders of IG Punjab, those who disturb the law and order situation in Kacha will be dealt with iron hands.The police will ensure the safety of the lives and property of the people while fulfilling all professional responsibilities.
Meanwhile, Additional IG South Punjab Police Maqsood ul Hasan and RPO Bahawalpur Rai Babar Saeed also reached the spot and DPO Rizwan Umar Gondal gave them a full briefing on which they reviewed the overall situation. SP Investigation Malik Zia-ul-Haq along with DSP City Asif Rasheed and other police officials visited the injured policemen at Sheikh Zayed Hospital.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar paid tribute to the martyred policemen and said that the brave policemen sacrificed their lives in the line of duty while ensuring the safety of the lives and property of the people in order to clear the area of Kacha from terrorists and dacoits. Punjab police is a strong wall against miscreants, terrorists and criminals, IGP ordered to continue the operation against the terrorists of Kacha and also directed for the best treatment of the injured policemen.
