Turkish Consul General Mr. Durmus Bastug arrived at the Central Police Office, Mr. Darmish Bashtu met with IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar

Turkish consul general Mr. Durmus Bastug visited the Central Police Office and met with IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar. Mr. Durmus Bastug emphasized on further promote the working relationship between the Punjab Police and the Turkish Police. Turkish Consul General said that Turkey and Pakistan are brother countries, all steps will be ensured to increase the training standard and technical support to enhance the efficiency of Punjab Police. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that Punjab Police is benefiting from the experiences of Turkish police in security, law and order control, modern policing, Dolphin Squad and Police Response Unit of Punjab Police are excellent first responder units on the pattern of Istanbul-style Turkish police

Dr. Usman Anwar further said that Punjab Police will send young police officers to Turkey for modern training, Punjab Police is providing fool proof security to Turkish investors and business community in Punjab. IG Punjab l said that there are immense opportunities to increase mutual cooperation between Punjab Police and Turkish Police. He expressed these views today while meeting the Consul General of Turkey, Mr. Durmus Bastug at the Central Police Office.

The Consul General of Turkey, Mr. Durmus Bastug, visited at the Central Police Office, IGP Punjan visited them to Shaheed wall and Ghazi walls at the CPO. Consul General of Turkey along with IG Punjab also recited Fatiha for high ranka the ranks of police martyrs. Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry, Additional IG Operations Shahzada Sultan, DIG Operations Waqas Nazir, DIG Elite Sadiq Ali Dogar and AIG Admin Amara Athar were present on the occasion.
