Additional IG Operations Punjab Shahzada Sultan attended the Young Political Scientist convention of the private university.
Additional IG Shahzada Sultan spoke about the positive role of youth in the betterment of society and community policing.
A large number of students registered to participate in Friends of Police, Volunteers in Police and Police and Leadership Skills programs.
On the directions of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, various programs for direct interaction between Punjab Police and students are going on uninterruptedly, in continuation of which Additional IG Operations Punjab Shahzada Sultan participated in the Young Political Scientists convention at the University of Management and Technology (UMT). Additional IG Shahzada Sultan spoke about the positive role of youth in the in spreading hope and uplifting society and briefed the students about the recent programs launched by the Punjab Police for interaction with the youth. Additional IG Operations Prince Sultan said that Punjab Police has started three programs for direct interaction with the youth, community policing and awareness of police services. These include Friends of Police, Volunteers in Police and Police and Leadership Skills programs. Students took keen interest in the three programs and registered to participate in the upcoming badges of the three programs. By participating in the above programs, students will gain awareness about the working, projects and services of Punjab Police and certificates will also be given to them. Additional IG Operations Shahzada Sultan further said that Punjab Police is increasing direct interaction with the youth as part of its outreach program for the promotion of community policing and awareness about service delivery as well.
