Punjab Police's crackdown against dangerous fugitives wanted in heinous crimes continues rapidly.

Wanted in dozens cases of murder, attempted murder and extortion, high-profile criminal Abdul-Jabbar aka Jabaro arrested forms Iran.

The aforesaid fugitive had killed 04 people in Tatlay Wali Gujranwala area last month.

Mohsin Ali, another dangerous proclaimed offender wanted in the crimes of land grabbing, attempted murder, aerial firing, was arrested from Muscat.

This year, the total number of fugitives criminals arrested from foreign countries has increased to 137.

Under the directions of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the crackdown of the Punjab Police against dangerous fugitives and proclaimed offenders wanted in serious crimes continues without interruption, in continuation of which, two dangerous criminals involved in murder, attempted murder, extortion and land grabbing have been arrested from Iran and Muscat and brought back to their Pakistan.

According to the details, high-profile criminal fugitive Abdul Jabbar alias Jabaro was arrested from Iran, he was wanted more than a dozen cases of murder, attempted murder and extortion. The aforesaid fugitive/ proclaimed offender had killed 04 people of the same house in Tatlay Wali Gujranwala area last month. Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Syed Mohsin Naqvi and IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar took notice of the incident and gave the task of immediate arrest of the culprit.  The team of Special Operations Cell Gujranwala traced and arrested the criminal Abdul Jabbar alias Jabaro from Iran, the proclaimed offender was transferred first through land route to Gwadar and then to Gujranwala.The proclaimed offender was wanted by the police in a total of 14 cases of heinous crimes. Proclaimed offender Abdul Jabbar was arrested by the coordination of Punjab Police, FIA and Interpol. Similarly, another dangerous fugitive wanted in the crimes of land possession, attempted murder, aerial firing was arrested from Muscat. The team of Punjab Police Special Squad arrested wanted criminal Mohsin Ali from Oman and reached home. Criminal Mohsin Ali was also arrested by the coordination of Punjab Police, FIA and Interpol.A red notice was issued by Interpol for the arrest of the accused and Punjab police continued the follow up for the arrest. This year, the total number of proclaimed offender/criminals arrested from foreign countries has reached to 137. These criminals have been arrested from America, UK, Europe, Africa and Gulf countries and brought to Pakistan.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar while congratulating the police teams for the arrest of the dangerous A-category criminals, said that the legal process should be completed as soon as possible and the criminals should be punished.IG Punjab directed that the crackdown against dangerous proclaimed offender involved in serious crimes should be intensified and RPOs, DPOs should personally supervise the operations to arrest fugitive and proclaimed offender abroad.  Dr. Usman Anwar said that the success of the crackdown in arrest of dangerous proclaimed offenders wanted in serious crimes is commendable, which should be continued with more effective supervision.
