On the direction of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the crackdown against the fugitive and proclaimed offenders residing abroad has intensified, another fugitive has been arrested.
The special squad of the Punjab Police arrested the fugitive from Muscat wanted in the fraud of crores of rupees with the citizens.
Muhammad Nasir had fled abroad after fraud with several citizens in Pakistan.
On the directions of Inspector General Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, Punjab Police's crack down against fugitive and proclaimed offenders residing abroad is continue without interruption, and in this regard, another wanted accused has been arrested. The special squad of the Punjab Police arrested a wanted fugitive from Muscat in the fraud of crores of rupees along with the citizens. Fugitive Muhammad Nasir had fled abroad after defrauding several citizens in Pakistan. Punjab Police has issued a Red Notice of the accused from Interpol, continued the follow-up up for the arrest, finally after arresting the criminal, Punjab Police team transferred Muhammad Nasir from Muscat to Pakistan earlier today. With the arrest of the above fugitive, the total number of proclaimed offenders arrested from foreign countries this year has reacged 135.These criminals have been arrested from America, Europe, Africa and Gulf countries and brought to Pakistan.
IG Punjab congratulated the team of Special Operation Cell for the arrest of A category dangerous fugitive. IGP Dr. Usman Anwar said that the legal process should be completed as soon as possible, and the criminal should be punished. IG Punjab directed that crackdown on dangerous proclaimed offenders involved in serious crimes should be intensified, and information sharing should be done regularly with FIA, Interpol, and other security agencies in this regard.
