Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has said that timely solving the problems of the citizens is the first priority, in which any deliberate misconduct will not be tolerated under any circumstances. IG Punjab directed the officers to provide all possible relief to the citizens by ensuring the disposal of the requests of the citizens within the timeline as per the SOPs. He expressed these views while giving instructions to the officers in an open court held at the Central Police Office today. IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar held an open court at the Central Police Office. After listening the problems of the citizens and police officials, IGP Punjab issued orders to provide the relief to citizens. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed that the timely resolution of the citizens' problems is the first priority, immediate steps should be taken to resolve them. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar also heard the application submitted by the police personnel and their families. Dr. Usman Anwar ordered the concerned branches to provide immediate relief according to merit on the requests of the employees and said that all requests including pension, discipline and leaves should be resolved as soon as possible. Dr. Usman Anwar said that officers and personnel guilty of violating SOPs during duty will not get any concession. IG Punjab said that an open court is being held in the Central Police Office on a daily basis to solve the problems of the citizens.
