ASI Muhammad Anwar of Telecommunication Lahore was given 10 lakh rupees for the treatment of his son's heart problem.

On the instructions of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, priority measures are being taken for the health welfare of the police force and their families, in continuation of which, IG Punjab has released another 22 lakh rupees for medical expenses to the police officers and officials serving in various districts including Lahore. According to the details, ASI Muhammad Anwar of Telecommunication Lahore was given 10 lakh rupees for the treatment of his son's heart problem. Sub-Inspector Mukhtar Ahmed of Rahim Yar Khan was given 05 lakh rupees for his son's liver transplant. Rizwan Qamar of Jhelum Police was given 05 lakh for burn surgery. Rawalpindi Head Constable Fahad Mehmood was given 01 lakh rupees for the treatment of his son. Vehari head constable Nasir Iqbal was given one lakh rupees for the treatment of his daughter's hearing disorder.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar ordered to continue more welfare measures for the health welfare of the force, especially the constables. IG Punjab said that any ailing police officer or his family will not be left alone in the fight against the disease. IG Punjab directed the officers to continue all possible measures for the welfare of the force with the income generated from police welfare sources. The Welfare Management Committee chaired by Additional IG Finance and Welfare Muhammad Riaz Nazir Gara approved and forwarded cases for the release of funds to the competent authority IGP Punjab. DIG Welfare Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin, DIG Headquarters Humayun Bashir Tarar, AIG Discipline Ahsan Saifullah and AIG Welfare Naveed Ajmal attended the meeting as members.
