10 months ago started the leap of faith journey of infrastructure development, promotions, welfare of the force to achieve positive results, IG Punjab.
Dr. Usman Anwar said, "There is no other institution that protects the internal borders of the country and the citizens more than the police."
Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar visited the Police Training College Chung Lahore and issued important instructions during address to the police officers and officials and lady officers undergoing training in various courses. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that Punjab Police is combating the challenges of terrorism, extremism and sectarianism however, the police force will not allow anti-national forces to rise again at any cost.Dr. Usman Anwar said that the Punjab Police has given great sacrifices alongside the Pakistan Army in the war against terrorism. Despite the limited resources and adverse conditions Punjab Police is a security wall between the people and the anti-social elements. IG Punjab said that the leap of faith journey started 10 months ago for infrastructure development, promotions, welfare of the force to achieve positive results, the results of which are gradually being transferred to the people of the province in the form of better service delivery. IG Punjab Dr. Usman said that there is no other organization that protects the internal borders and citizens of the country more than the police, It is the responsibility of all of you to bring the positive image of Punjab Police to the world through the eradication of crimes and the best service delivery. Dr. Usman Anwar said that the training curriculum has been upgraded according to modern policing and facilities in police colleges and schools, along with the Police Training College Chung, training institutes at Farooqabad, Sihala, Multan and Sargodha have further improved the training skills and syllabus so that the under training officers and officials should perform more better in field of their duties of public service and safety of lives and properties of the citizens after completing their training.He expressed these views while addressing officers and officials on the occasion of his visit to Police Training College Chung.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that after the summary approval of Pasban by Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi, 05 thousand new promotions will be given soon to the force. IGP directed that to transfer the benefits of faster development and welfare initiatives to citizens in the form of excellent service delivery with positive behavior. While talking about welfare measures of the force IG Punjab said that this year under the claim of martyrs and death in service, children of 1500 employees have been employed in the department. IG Punjab said that Rs 250 crore were spent on health welfare of the force during this year whereas next year Rs 350 crore will be spent in this regard.IG Punjab further said that 85 crore rupees will be spent on the education of police employees' children this year and 100 crore rupees next year in the form of scholarships. Dr. Usman Anwar appreciated the efforts of Commandant DIG Mehboob Lillah for improving all areas of Police Training College Chung.IG Punjab also announced a reward of 25 lakh rupees for the officers and officials with the best performance in sports and constructive activities during the training. On the occasion of his visit to Chung College, IG Punjab heard the problems of the staff and under-training officers of Police Training College, and issued orders on the spot for their solution. SP Admin Dr. Bushra Jameel, DSPs, instructors and other officers were also present. In Chung College probationer class course, investigation, lady recruit and traffic police training courses are going on according to the schedule.
