On the instructions of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the process of evacuation of illegal foreign immigrants from the Punjab continues without interruption.
Punjab Police has ensured the evacuation of more than 700 foreign citizens so far, said by spokesman of the Punjab Police.
With the support of NADRA and other institutions, verification of more than 17,000 foreign persons was carried out, said Punjab Police Spokesman.
Actions should be accelerated with the cooperation of Special Branch, CTD, District Administration and other intelligence agencies, IG Punjab directed.
On the instructions of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the process of evacuation of illegal foreign immigrants from all over the Punjab continues without interruption, and in this regard, Punjab Police has so far conducted more than 16 hundred and 50 raids in different districts of the province.Spokesman Punjab Police said that Punjab Police has ensured the evacuation of more than 700 foreign nationals so far, verification of more than 17,000 foreigners was carried out with the support of NADRA and other govt. institutions, while around 14,000 illegal immigrants have voluntarily returned from Punjab.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed the RPOs, DPOs to speed up the process of evacuation of foreign nationals and said that the return process of all illegally staying foreign nationals should be completed as soon as possible, and in this regard, steps should be accelerated with the cooperation of Special Branch, CTD, District Administration and other intelligence agencies. IG Punjab said that during the evacuation process, excellent arrangements should be made and respect of basic human rights should be ensured in every case.
