KASUR: The Mustafabad police recovered the body of a four-year-old boy who had gone missing from village Dafto on Wednesday. The family had filed a criminal case under section 363 of the Pakistan Penal Code against Shahbaz, husband of the maternal aunt. The FIR states that Shahbaz was last seen with missing boy Sikandae as reported by Naseem Bibi, deceased’s mother. On Thursday, the police found the body of the boy in the fields.
Shahbaz was arrested, and the body was shifted to the DHQ Hospital for a postmortem examination. The police said Shahbaz suspected his sister-in-law, Naseem Bibi, of supporting and provoking his wife, who had left his house due to domestic issues and was residing with Naseem Bibi. In a separate case, 14-year-old Abdullah has been missing from Nathowala village in the Kot Radha Kishan police station limits for the last 21 days. The boy reportedly went to a village seminary but did not return home.
