Central Police Office: IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar chaired a meeting about Special Initiative Police Stations

 

Lahore 11th November: Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has said that transfer of all police stations to Special Initiative Police Stations protocol as soon as possible and upgrading of khidmat marakaz is the first priority. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that all RPOs and DPOs should complete the upgrading of all police stations to special initiative police stations within the given period. IG Punjab said that after the Special Initiative Police Stations, the Pasban Project will be started and the work of Police Lines Upgradation will also commenced. Dr. Usman Anwar said that police infrastructure is being upgraded according to modern policing requirements and benefit of all development initiatives will reach the public in the form of easy and fast service delivery. He expressed these views today while presiding over a meeting about the upgradation of the Special Initiative Police Station at the Central Police Office.

All RPOs, CPOs, DPOs of the province participated in the meeting through video link and briefed the IG Punjab about the ongoing work. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed to complete all the works as soon as possible. MD Safe City Authority Ahsan Younas, AIG Admin Amara Athar, AIG Rana Shoaib Mehmood attended the meeting.
