Motorcycle-riding dacoits opened fire on Punjab police team at check post in Shadan Lund area of Dera Ghazi Khan

 

In Zinda Peer, Shadan Lund area of Dera Ghazi Khan, motorcycle-riding bandits opened fire on the police, as a result of which Sub-Inspector Rizwan Mehboob, in-charge of the post, was martyred while 03 officers, ASI Iqbal, Head Constable Tahir Saeed and Constable Mazhar Khan were seriously injured. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar paid rich tribute to the great sacrifice of Sub-Inspector Rizwan Mehboob, who was martyred by the motorcycle-riding robbers. IG Punjab said that RPO and DPO DG Khan should immediately contact the family of Shaheed Sub-Inspector. IG Punjab also ordered the best medical care of ASI Iqbal, Head Constable Tahir Saeed, and Constable Mazhar Khan, who were injured in the incident. IG Punjab said that all available resources should be utilized for the best treatment of the injured.

 

Dr. Usman Anwar said that Sub-Inspector Rizwan Mehboob sacrificed his life in the line of duty. Punjab Police will never forget the supreme sacrifice of its brave son.Dr. Usman Anwar said that Punjab Police is the guardian force of more than 1600 brave martyrs like sub-inspector Rizwan Mehboob. IG Punjab said that the family of the martyr will not be left alone, all their needs will be taken care of. Dr. Usman Anwar directed to ensure the early arrest of the motorcycle-riding robbers involved in the firing and bring the accused to justice.
