More than 13 lakh 42 thousand rupees have been released for the treatment of police employees of various districts including Lahore and their families.

On the instructions of Inspector General Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, priority measures are being taken for the health welfare of police force and their families, and the welfare branch has released more funds in this regard. According to the details, more than 13 lakh 42 thousand rupees have been issued for the treatment of police employees of various districts including Lahore and their families. 03 lakh 53 thousand 03 hundred and 50 rupees were given to Constable Muhammad Awais of Lahore Police for the treatment of his leg. Constable Muhammad Asim was given 05 lakh rupees for his daughter's cancer treatment. 89 thousand 461 rupees were given to the wife of Shaheed Head Constable Muhammad Athar Siddiqui for treatment. Shaheed Muhammad Anwar's wife was given 01 lakh rupees for eye surgery. ASI Muhammad Saeed was given Rs.03 lakh for leg operation. Additional IG Finance and Welfare Muhammad Riaz Nazir Gara had sent the above mentioned cases to IG Punjab for release of funds. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar ordered to continue the measures for the health welfare of the force and said that the income generated from police welfare sources should be used for the treatment of police employees and their families and all possible relief should be given. Dr. Usman Anwar said that RPOs, DPOs should shortlist the cases of their officials and send them to the Central Police Office along with relevant documents so that measures can be taken for the welfare of maximum employees.
