This year, Punjab Police has arrested 128 dangerous proclaimed offenders from America, Europe, Africa and Gulf countries and brought them back to Pakistan. Spokesperson Punjab Police
 
Under the direction of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the crackdown of the Punjab Police against dangerous proclaimed offenders wanted in serious cases is continuing without interruption, in continuation of which another proclaimed offender has been arrested at the airport.

Proclaimed offender Arslan Ali was fleeing abroad after killing a citizen, Punjab Police said Arslan Ali's details were provided and included in the Provisional National Identification List and continued follow-up to arrest the proclaimed offender were ensured in close coordination with all agencies including FIA. Finally he was arrest the at the Air before boarding the flight and is being handed over to the concerned district police. Spokesman Punjab Police further said that this year Punjab Police has arrested 128 dangerous proclaimed offenders from America, Europe, Africa and Gulf countries and brought them back to Pakistan.
IG Punjab while congratulating the team of Special Operation Cell Gujranwala for arresting an A category dangerous proclaimed offender said that the legal process should be completed soon and the culprit should be punished. IG Punjab further said that close coordination should be continued with FIA, Interpol and other agencies to arrest more dangerous proclaimed offenders.
