IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar's direction/ more than 16 lakh rupees funds released for the treatment of Ghazi officials.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed to continue measures for the best medical welfare of police Ghazis.
 

Under the direction of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, priority measures are being taken for the health welfare of Ghazi officers and officials, in continuation of which more than 16 lakh rupees funds have been released. On the direction of IG Punjab, Ghazi Committee meeting was held at the Central Police Office under the chairmanship of Additional IG Finance and Welfare Muhammad Riaz Nazir Gara, in which funds were approved for the medical expenses of 06 police officials from different districts including Lahore. According to the details, injured Constable of Narowal police Faisal Nadeem was given 05 lakh PKR for medical expenses, injured constable Muhammad Hanif of Lodhran police was also given Rs.05 lakh for medical expenses, injured constable Waqar Aslam of Gujarat police was given Rs: 03 lakh for treatment. Injured head Constable Abu Bakar of PTS Farooqabad was given Rs.250,000 for medical expenses, while Waheed Murad, who was injured in Sialkot, was given Rs.01 lakh for medical treatment.
These Ghazi officers and officials were got seriously injured in the encounters with the criminals and dacoits while on duty. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar ordered the continuation of measures for the best treatment of Ghazi personnel. He said that best and quick rehabilitation of Ghazi officers and officials as is the among top priorities of the department and all possible measures will continue in this regard, Ghazi officers and officials will receive silver medals ans their names will be engraved on Ghazi wall in central police office.
