Central Police Office: IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar presided over the Tahaffuz marakaz performance review meeting

Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar chaired a meeting to review the performance of the Tahaffuz marakaz in reference of series Tahafuz Diaries at the Central Police Office in which the IG Punjab met with the staff of the Tahaffuz marakaz khushab, and citizens, children and transgenders who got social protection from the Tahaffuz marakaz Khushab. Inspector Legal Focal Person Protection Center Khushab while giving a briefing said that Police Protection Center Khushab has provided social security to 633 people since its inception.MOUs were signed with 21 NGOs, helped 61 transgenders, 07 special people with mental and physical disabilities, treated 32 drug addicts and reunited 26 missing children with their parents. Tahaffuz marakaz provided assistance to 24 homeless children, provided financial assistance to 37 persons, provided free legal aid to 6 women with the help of Women Protection Center, sent 6 women to Darul Aman for shelter, registered 13 transgenders and women in Benazir Income Support Program, 120 people were referred to various police stations to solve crime related problems, 253 vulnerable people were registered, 05 transgenders were given driving license learners, help desks were established to support transgenders in all police stations of Khushab district.
