Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar held an open court in the Central Police Office to solve the problems of the citizens, in which the IG Punjab issued orders after listening to the problems of the citizens and police employees. Dr. Usman Anwar provided relief to the applicants and also sought reports from the concerned supervisory officers on the applications of the citizens. IG Punjab said the flawed investigation and high handedness with citizens is unacceptable. Officers and officials found guilty of violating SOPs should prepare themselves for departmental action. IG Punjab directed the RPO, DPOs to take steps under personal supervision to solve the problems of the citizens.In the open court police employees submitted the requests related to discipline, admin and welfare issues to IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar. IGP Dr. Usman said that after solving the problems of police employees, we can demand more better performance from them. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that 1787 complaint center has been kept active seven days a week for the convenience of citizens.Citizens can send their police related complaints to 1787 Complaint Center through call, SMS and also by post.
