IG Punjab directed the respective branch heads to provide relief to police employees on requests related to departmental affairs.
Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar listened the problems of the citizens in an open court held at the Central Police Office. Dr. Usman Anwar sought reports from the concerned DPOs on the applications of citizens coming from various districts including Lahore.IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed that the district police officers should provide justice to the citizens by taking immediate action on their applications. IG Punjab emphasized that priority action should be ensured on the requests of poor, deserving elderly and women citizens.IG Punjab issued orders after listening to the problems of citizens as well as police employees. Dr. Usman Anwar said that only after solving the problems of the police force, we can demand good performance from them. IG Punjab also met the families of the employees who died during service and issued orders regarding their problems. IGP Dr. Usman Anwar said that Punjab Police is like a family and department is ensuring maximum possible relief to families of the employees who died during the service.
