IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar's great initiative,1st kidney transplant operation of police official completed at PKLI*

Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar's another great initiative for the health welfare of police force, kidney transplants of sick and deserving police officials has started at the PKLI. According to the MOU between Punjab Police and PKLI, the first official of Punjab Police, Samar Abbas, underwent a kidney transplant.DIG Welfare Punjab Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin visited the sick official and presented a bouquet on behalf of IG Punjab.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that 14 cases of kidney transplant of police employees have been referred to PKLI, for each kidney transplant, Punjab Police will pay Rs 01 million from its welfare funds, the rest of the treatment and follow-up costs will be borne by PKLI, Dr. Usman Anwar said that a DSP's liver transplant will also take place at PKLI next week. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that Punjab Police is taking all possible measures for the health welfare of its employees, the entire force is benefiting from the agreement with PKLI for kidney and liver transplant and more possible measure will remain continue for the health welfare of the force.
