Welfare Management Committee approved the medical cases of police personnel and their families from various districts including Lahore.
More measures should be taken for the treatment of constables and their families from the income generated from police welfare sources. IG Punjab
On the instructions of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the health welfare measures of the police employees have been speeded up, in continuation of which more 0.8 lakh rupees have been released to the deserving employees and their families.On the direction of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, a meeting of the Welfare Management Committee was held, which approved the medical cases of police personnel and families of various districts including Lahore. According to the details, ASI Tanveer Ahmed was given two and half lakh rupees for medical expenses, Constable Muhammad Rafiq was given two lakh rupees for his wife's eye surgery.Shaheed Constable Abdul Samad's wife was given Rs.01 lakh for medical expenses. ASI Bashir Ahmed was given one and a half lakh rupees for the treatment of his wife's kidneys. Muhammad Naeem Akbar of Investigation Branch was given Rs.01 lakh for the treatment of his wife.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed to continue the measures for the health welfare of the force and their families and said that more steps should be taken for the treatment. He directed to increase the measures for health welfare of the constables and their families with the income generated from police welfare sources.
