Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has said that Tahaffuz Markaz of Punjab Police have become brand projects due to their performance in serving humanity and provision of social protection to women, children, transgenders and others who are suffering from problems and difficulties in all the districts of the province. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has said that the Punjab Police will continue to protect the life and properties of the citizens, law & order and crackdown against eradication of the crimes beside helping and protecting the citizens who are suffering from various difficulties, and priority actions will continue from the platform of Tahaffuz Markaz. These views were expressed by IG Punjab while reviewing the performance of Tahaffuz Markaz Hafizabad at the Central Police Office. According to the details, a ceremony was held at the Central Police Office in honor of the Tahaffuz Markaz Hafizabad for its excellent performance, the focal person of the protection center Hafizabad DSP Jameel Qaiser came to the central police office along with his team and deserving children and families. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar along with senior police officers spent time with the innocent children at the Central Police Office.
IG Punjab said that Punjab Police’s Tahaffuz Markaz has become beacon for hope & support system for innocent children, poor families, transgenders who are victims of violence and also playing its part in eradicating the child labor by providing educations to deserving children who avoid education due to financial difficulties. DSP Jameel Qaiser told IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar about the ongoing measures to help children, women, transgenders and deserving families by Tahaffuz Markaz Hafizabad. He said that under community policing, children have been admitted to schools, free education, books, uniforms, rations have been provided for survival, and blood bottles have been provided to children suffering from thalassemia with the help of Sundus Foundation. He added that Protection center has donated blood for 45 children suffering from thalassemia, will donate blood to more than 100 children on regular basis in future. 05 children who are victims of child labor have been admitted to school by arranging fees and admission from their own resources to equip them with good education.

From the platform of Tahaffuz Markaz ration and essential food items has been provided to more than 100 poor families, widows and transgenders, it also provided uniforms, school books, stationery and other items to more than 50 children, provided relief to 35 transgenders in various criminal cases, 1292 citizens were provided with the facilities available at the Police Service Center within the Tahaffuz Markaz.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar praised the performance of Tahaffuz Markaz Hafizabad, directed them to continue the excellent performance for public relief. IG Punjab awarded Rs.02 lakh to the in-charge Tahaffuz Markaz Hafizabad, Rs.1 lakh to the victim support officer and 01 lakh each to other 02 staff members. Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry, Additional IG Welfare Riaz Nazir Gara, DIG IT Ahsan Younis, AIG Welfare Naveed Ajmal, AIG Admin Ammara Athar, AIG Discipline Ahsan Saifullah and senior officers also attended the ceremony.
