On the direction of Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the police Tahaffuz centres established in all the districts of the province are working day and night to provide social and legal protection to the deserving citizens of the society. In this regard, the Nankana Police Protection Centre has become a shelter for 33 children. According to the details, through the generous efforts of the Nankana Police Tahaffuz Centre, the education of 33 deserving children has resumed.These children were removed from education by their parents due to various problems including poverty. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the help and protection of the citizens suffering from social problems is the basic work of the Police Tahaffuz Centres and the performance of the Tahaffuz Centre Nankana Sahib in this regard is exemplary for all the districts.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the Police Tahaffuz Centre Nankana Sahib became support for 33 children who were deprived of education due to financial difficulties, the education of 33 children who were victims of child labor and could not pay fees has been resumed. In charge of the Tahaffuz Centre, ASI Nazim Shah worked hard and, with the support of the local school union, arranged scholarships for children in different schools under which children are getting free education in different schools. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar highly appreciated the performance of the Tahaffuz Centre and ASI Nazim Abbas, the children who were admitted to the schools, and their parents also participated in the event. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that all the facilities, including school uniforms, books, and bags, have been provided to the children, while ration (grocery items) has been arranged for the families of these children by DPO Nankana Sahib. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed that all possible steps should be continued to help the poor and deserving citizens.
