IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar's directive accelerates crackdown dangerous proclaimed offenders
Punjab Police arrested two dangerous proclaimed offenders wanted in murder cases from Bahrain and brought them back to the country

On the instructions of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the crackdown has been speeded up against dangerous proclaimed offenders wanted in murder, robbery and kidnapping cases. In continuation of which, Punjab Police has arrested two dangerous proclaimed offenders wanted in murder cases from Bahrain and brought them back to the country. With the arrest of these two dangerous suspects, the total number of proclaimed offenders arrested from abroad this year has reached 111.
Spokesperson of Punjab Police said that Zulfiqar Ali wanted by Sialkot Police and Noor Muhammad wanted by Faisalabad Police are among the arrested proclaimed offenders. Punjab Police issued red notices from Interpol for the repatriation of the accused, the accused were brought back home from Bahrain after completing the rules and regulations and were handed over to the concerned police for further action.
IG Punjab directed to intensify the crackdown for the arrest of dangerous proclaimed offenders of category A and said that the accused in serious crimes should be arrested through effective follow-up and intelligence-based operations. IG Punjab further said that the accused should be arrested soon with the cooperation of FIA, Interpol and other agencies.
The supervisory officers should personally monitor the operations for the arrest of the proclaimed offenders involved in serious crimes and the reports regarding the arrest of the accused criminals should be sent to the Central Police Office regularly.
