RPO Conference to review the crime data...

In order to review the crime data, assessment of the police officer’s performance and setting up the future strategy for improving law & order in the province, RPOs conference held at Police Headquarters, Lahore here today under the chairmanship of the IGP.

CCPO Lahore, Ahmad Raza Tahir, RPO Shiekhupura Dr. Arif Mushtaq, RPO Gujranwala Ahmad Mubarak Ahmad, RPO Rawalpindi Capt ®  Mohammad Zubair, RPO Sargodha Rao Sardar Ali, RPO Multan Mubarak Ali Athar, RPO Sahiwal Khaliq Dad Luk, RPO Bahawalpure Capt ® Syed Mohammad Abid Qadri, RPO D.G Khan Mohammad Nawaz Warrich and CPO Faisalabad Bilal Siddique Kamyana also participated in the conference.

All Regional Police Officers briefed the IGP in detail matters relating to kidnapping for ransom, robbery, dacoity and murder in their respective regions. They also briefed about the arrests of Proclaimed Offenders their prosecution and conviction progress. To strengthening the police structure and empowered police force various suggestions were also discussed in the conference.

Javed Iqbal directed the RPOs to complete the challans of all pending cases of terrorism and presented them before the courts so that involved culprits should be convicted.

IGP stressed upon the RPOs that they should focus their attention to control the crimes and all preventive measures should be taken in this regard so that the security of the people could be ensured and in this way we would be able to restore the police confidence among the people. He further directed the RPOs that relief to the complainants must be provided at Thana level so that the image of the police could be enhanced.

He told the RPOs that no negligence and inefficiency would be tolerated in restoration of law & order.
