DERA GHAZI KHAN: The Civil Lines police have registered a case against another professor of the physics department of the Ghazi University and a local journalist on a complaint lodged by a rape victim and arrested them. Two professors of the same department are already in Gadai police custody for allegedly raping the complainant. Police registered the case against the teacher and journalist under section 501, 384,406 and 506 of Pakistan penal code for sexually harassing her. She stated in the FIR that she was forced to record her video statement on their cell phones by the accused. At that time an inquiry initiated by the vice chancellor was also under way separately on the written complaint of the victim.She said the professor and the journalist used her video statement as a blackmailing tool and extracted Rs 90,000 from her for not making the video public. But later they uploaded the video on social media.
