LALAMUSA: The Gujrat police have arrested a man for allegedly uploading hateful content to the social media, and six others for offering resistance during the arrest of the accused. As per details shared by a police spokesperson, the Lorry Adda Police Station had received information that a person has created a page on social website Facebook, and he was promoting controversial ideas by posting hateful content on his site. The police registered a case, and arrested him. The police party, led by SHO Inspector Imran Farooq, also arrested others for resisting the arrest of the accused. DPO Gujrat Ahmad Nawaz Shah told the media the police were pursuing a zero-tolerance policy for curbing communal and hateful content on the social media, and people should support the Gujrat police for establishment of a peaceful.
