Inspector General Police Punjab (IGP) Dr. Usman Anwar is working day and night to solve the problems of the citizens. In the same continuation, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar organized an open court at the Central Police Office. After listening to the problems of the citizens, he issued orders for the immediate relief. In the court, IG Punjab also heard the issues raised by the police personnel and their families. IG Punjab ordered to take more steps to solve the problems faced by the families of the martyrs and said that the RPOs, DPOs should stay in touch with the families of the martyrs at the local level and provide all the possible relief. Dr. Usman Anwar said that Punjab Police is like a family and as the head of the family, the best care of all members is my top priority. He further said that health screening of the entire force has been completed, vaccination and treatment of the diagnosed diseases is in progress.
Dr. Usman Anwar also said that special children of police employees are being provided with all the possible medical facilities through our Phool project. IG Punjab further directed that priority measures should be continued for the higher education, employment and other problems of the children of police employees. On the directions of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the process of departmental promotions is continue in the police department according to merit and seniority. According to the details, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar issued orders for promotion of ministerial staff in grade 17 and 16 .As many as 36 assistants serving across the province including Lahore have been promoted to the post of office superintendents, whereas 41 senior clerks posted in various districts including Lahore have been promoted to the rank of Assistants.
The spokesperson of Punjab Police said that the office superintendents promoted including Khalid Habib, Kalsoom Yousaf, Gul Faraz Ahmed, Lubni Yasmin and Muhammad Aslam Lodhi, as well as Manzoor Hussain, Zulfiqar Ali Shah, Syed Muhammad Nadeem Shah Mashhaddi, Muhammad Malik and Saqib Hussain. Another 31 senior clerks were promoted to the rank of office assistants include Manzoor Hussain, Zulfiqar Ali Shah, Syef Muhammad Nadeem Shah, Muhammed Malik and Saqib Hussain. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar congratulated all the promoted officers and staff. Dr. Usman Anwar directed the promoted to perform their duties more diligently and dutifully. IG Punjab said that promotions according to merit and seniority is the right of every police employee who is getting it without delay. AIG Admin and Security has issued notifications of promotions.
