PO ARRESTED
MIANWALI, Jan 30: Police have arrested a proclaimed offender who had a Rs800,000 bounty on his head, Sargodha Regional Police Officer Rao Sardar Ali Khan said at a press conference at the Police Lines on Monday.
Khan said Muhammad Amir, a resident of Musakhel, was wanted to police in many cases of murder, attempt to murder, highway robberies and kidnapping for ransom in Mianwali, Bhakkar and Khushab districts.
He said City police arrested Amir when he returned from tribal area to see his family in Musakhel.
He was arrested before he could put up any resistance and police seized two Kalashnikovs, two hand-grenades and bullets from him.
Police presented masked Amir and Ammunition seized from him before the media.
