Lahore: According to the sources of Daily Notable, Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar visited District Police Lines Qila Gujar Singh and addressed the promoted police officers and personnel of Lahore Police. While congratulating the promoted police officers and officials, IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar said that he is grateful to Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Chief Election Commissioner, Chief Secretary Punjab for ensuring record promotions of police employees across the province. IG Punjab further said that such a large number of promotions are due to the personal interest and efforts of CCPO Bilal Siddique Kamiana. Bilal Siddique Kamiana made the impossible possible in the caretaker setup, a single promotion would not have happened if he did not take make effort. He further said that Lahore Police has been the first in terms of performance despite challenges in all 09 regions of Punjab. CCPO Bilal Siddique Kamiana continued to face challenges with his force in the most difficult situations, CCPO Bilal Siddique Kamiana and his team set an example courage and bravery.
IG Punjab said that the joining of 1100 police officers promoted in the investigation wing would improve the investigation matters. 11 thousand young officials including 02 thousand women with the latest training would become part of police force soon. Addressing the young employees, Dr Usman Anwar said that the system of Safe City Authority Lahore has been fixed, now we are starting this project in other cities also. He said that we are improving the mechanism cost of investigation mechanism in order to ensure quality investigation and timely justice. Dr. Usman Anwar added that after the formation of the service structure in CTD, the promotion procedure up to grade 19 has also been approved. IG Punjab added that this series of promotions would not stop due to the arrival or departure of any officer, Insha Allah. He reiterated that we also formulated promotion structure of wardens and patrolling police who were recruited in the past.
Moreover, all the pending promotions from 2009 to 2013 have been completed. 175 crore rupees are being spent on welfare, the health screening of the entire force has been completed, the liver, kidney, heart and other diseases of the employees will be treated with the best treatment system in the world, Dr. Usman Anwar said that the health of the Sipah in one day spent as much money as was spent in the whole year in 2022.
