TOBA TEK SINGH: The police arrested a family of three drug peddlers in the Madina Town police area and recovered 97 kilo hashish and four kilo opium from them. Faisalabad CIA SP Irtaza Kumail told a press conference on Friday that Aqeel from Chak 204-RB was transporting narcotics with his mother and sister on two motorcycles. They were accompanied by an accomplice who fled. The police said the family had a history of involvement in the drug trade and had been supplying drugs to students. Additionally, a female university student was found to be associated with them, although further investigation is required in this regard.
