On the direction of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, crackdown against dangerous proclaimed offenders continues, 4 more proclaimed offenders absconding abroad have been arrested.
With the help of Interpol, the Punjab Police team reached Lahore Airport after arresting proclaimed offenders.
In the crackdown commenced since January 24th, the number of POs arrested from abroad has reached 37.
Proclaimed offenders involved in serious crimes should be chased with the cooperation of Interpol and FIA.  IG Punjab

Under the direction of Inspector General Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, the crackdown against dangerous proclaimed offenders fleeing abroad is underway uninterruptedly.  In this regard, the Punjab Police team arrested 04 more dangerous proclaimed offenders from the United Arab Emirates and reached Lahore Airport.  The four proclaimed offenders have been incarcerated with the assistance of Interpol Pakistan and Interpol Abu Dhabi.  According to the details, with the addition of 04 proclaimed offenders in the crackdown which commenced on January 24th, the number of POs arrested from abroad has reached 37. These proclaimed offenders were apprehended from America, Britian, Gulf countries, South Africa and Greece.  Among the new arrested proclaimed offenders are Sufi Ahmed Yar, wanted by Gujranwala Police, Mansoor Ahmed, wanted by Narowal Police, Mohammad Ansar, wanted by Gujarat Police and proclaimed offender Sajid Ullah.  Accused Sufi Ahmed Yar had killed the brother of the plaintiff two years ago in Gujranwala and escaped to Dubai. Accused Mansoor Ahmed along with his accomplices had killed three people including the brother of the plaintiff in Narowal.  accused proclaimed offender Sajid Ullah  killed a citizen three years ago and fled Dubai to evade  arrest, while the criminal proclaimed offender Muhammad Ansar  along with his accomplices, fled abroad to Dubai after commiting murder.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar while congratulating the teams that arrested the proclaimed offenders and brought them to Pakistan, said that the process of arresting the fugitive proclaimed offenders should be continued and circle around them should be the tightened by issuing red notices and other alerts with the cooperation of Interpol and FIA.   Dr. Usman Anwar said that accused of serious cases such as murder, kidnapping for ransom, robbery, dacoity don't deserve any sympathy therefore, passports of these dangerous proclaimed offenders should be canceled and they should be arrested in order to get them punished by courts.
