Punjab Police has achieved clear success in several operations, so far 51 dacoits have been arrested, 06 have been killed, 05 have surrendered.
The police forces took complete control of the most important parts of Katcha Imrani by demolishing the hideout of Ataullah Pat, a criminal of
2 million head money Moj Ali, 8 million head money dacoit Sabz Ali, notorious Katcha criminal Waqari Qaisrani's hideouts were destroyed.
Elimination of organized networks of pat gangs and imrani gangs involved in kidnapping for ransom, dacoity robbery, arms smuggling, murder and attempted murder from the area.
4 new police pickets were established at the residence of Attaullah Pat and Basti Chandia, Basti Qaisrani and Basti Pat to establish writ of the state. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar
The Katcha Grand Operation started under the leadership of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar continued on the 27th day with targeted operations. Punjab Police has achieved clear successes in several operations, so far 51 dacoits have been arrested, 06 have been killed while 05 have surrendered. RPO Dera Ghazi Khan Captain (Rtd) Sajjad Hasan Khan is present on the front line in the operational area along with the police forces. Police squads demolished the hideout of Ataullah Pat, the criminal of 20 lakh head money and took control of the most important parts of Katcha Imrani. Similarly, after intense resistance and exchange of fire, the camps of Moj Ali, the dacoit of 2 million head money, Sabz Ali, the dacoit of 8 lakh head money, the notorious Katcha criminal Waqari Qaisrani were also destroyed. A huge amount of arms and ammunition was recovered from the hideouts were completely destroyed. The organized network of Patt gang and Imrani gang involved in kidnapping for ransom, banditry, robbery, arms smuggling, murder and attempted murder from the area was completely eliminated and the hideou of Attaullah Patt and Basti Chandia, Basti Qaisrani and Basti Pat were completely eliminated. Furthermore, rule of law and writ of the state has been restored by establishing 04 new police pickets.
Spokesman of Punjab Police said that Rahim Yar Khan Police has cleared most of the area of Katcha including Karachi Katcha from criminals, the police are closely monitoring the area around Katcha Rajwani, targeted operations of police teams and advancement is going on. Police are proceeding with the best strategy by executing the Katcha operation according to the heat map. Police have achieved great success against the dangerous gangs of Katcha, Imrani, Lathani, Sukhani, Kokani, Qaisrani and Dulani. The police in Katcha are continuing operations with full force against the criminals for lasting peace and the operation would continue till wiping out of criminals from Katcha area.
