MUZAFFARGARH: Police claim to have recovered an eight-year-old child from his alleged kidnapper, who was also arrested during the operation. The child was recovered by a special team constituted by District Police Officer Syed Hasnain Haider, led by Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Syed Ejaz Bukhari. Police said the kidnapped child was recovered from Khanewl district and the suspect was arrested. Earlier, Punjab inspector general of police had taken notice of the kidnapping and ordered Dera Ghazi Khan Regional Police Officer (RPO) retired Capt Sajjad Hassan to recover the child. As per police, Farhan was kidnapped over a monetary dispute in Seetpur, in the limits of Alipur police station, on Tuesday the last and the kidnapper, Riaz, a relative of the victim, had also sent a threatening voice message to his father on WhatsApp.
