DPO Gujarat has been ordered to take action against the officials involved in the incident.

Torture on the detained accused is not acceptable under any circumstances, IG Punjab
Inspector General Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, taking notice of the incident of violence against the accused in custody in Gujrat, has directed RPO Gujranwala to incident report. While ordering the action, he said that there should be no delay in the departmental and legal action against those responsible after the inquiry. The IG Punjab further said that torture on the detained accused will not be accepted under any circumstances.
