Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has taken an important step for departmental promotions and welfare of the personnel of Telecommunication and Transport Wing and has signed the summary of departmental promotions of 670 personnel of Telecommunication & Transport Wing. By which the officials eligible for promotion will get promotion according to merit and seniority. In a video message released along with DIG Telecommunication Imran Ahmar, IG Punjab said that the departmental examination of the lists of telecommunication officials has been done and around 350 officials have been promoted to the next scale and the promotion board meeting will be held soon after approving the summary for further promotions of 650 officials. IG Punjab said that after the promotion of these officials to the next rank, there will be scope for the promotion of 450 more officials on the seats that will be vacant and thus every official eligible for promotion will be given his departmental right without delay. Dr. Usman Anwar said that the Telecommunication Wing is a very important department of Punjab Police which is being fully digitized by providing modern resources and all these steps are aimed at making the Telecommunication Wing professionally more functional and strong wing. . IG Punjab said that in exchange for departmental promotions, the officers and personnel of the telecommunication wing should increase the good name of the department by working harder and with excellent performance.
DIG Telecommunication Imran Ahmar while detailing said that the control centers of telecommunication in the district and police stations are being fully digitized. He said that the telecommunication operators are providing full support to the district police with digital tracker system and modern softwares and good performance will be continued. Dr. Usman Anwar said that telecommunication employees are performing excellent duties in various fields for crime fighting as well as good governance. He said that no hindrance will be tolerated in the best welfare and professional development of the employees.
