Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, taking notice of the incident of death of a five-year-old child due to kite string in Shad Bagh area of Lahore, has asked CCPO Lahore for a report on the incident. IG Punjab ordered to arrest the accused as soon as possible by forming a special team and said that the brutal accused who are enemies of human lives should be punished. Dr. Usman Anwar, giving instructions to speed up the ongoing crackdown against the metallic and chemical cords and kite flying, said that zero tolerance should be adopted in the actions against the accused involved in kite flying in all the districts including the provincial capital. IG Punjab said that the brutal accused who play with innocent human lives do not deserve any sympathy, so those who manufacture, buy, sell and use metallic and chemical strings in all districts should be brought to justice. IG Punjab said that close contact should be kept with the family of the deceased child and no effort should be spared to provide justice.
