Man held over murder of uncle, cousin

LAHORE: Investigation Police Sadar Division claimed to have arrested multiple accused in cases of murder, blind murder, robbery and banditry in Lahore, while the mobile tracking teams recovered around 200 mobile phones. SP investigation Saddar Abdul Hanan informed electronic and print media representatives on Thursday that said that two accused involved in the blind murder of two men were arrested in Raiwind. The accused Majid Khan, along with his relative Allah Wasaya, allegedly killed Majid’s uncle Muhammad Hussain alias Bala by shooting him in the head. The victim did not want to arrange his daughter's marriage to Majid, which is what motivated the murder.

The accused later killed his cousin Ghulam Mohiuddin for fear of revealing the secret of killing his uncle. Similarly, Investigation Nawab Town arrested the suspect involved in the murder of Amir Hamza. The accused, Wilayat Ali, allegedly shot and killed Amir after suspecting that he had kidnapped his daughter. Moreover, Investigation Police Sundar arrested two accused, identified as Shahzad alias Chaja and Owais, who allegedly gunned down Mohammad Riaz over a minor dispute.

The accused were arrested and pistols and ammunition were also seized. Meanwhile, Investigation Police Sattu Katla arrested Zeeshan, Usman, Faiz Amir and Fakhar Amir over alleged robbery and recovered cash, a tablet and mobile phones from them. Additionally, Township investigation arrested a suspected mobile thief gang and seized over Rs636,000 in cash. SP Abdul Hanan added that Nawab Town Investigation police arrested eight wanted suspects, including 2 gangs. Wilayat, the accused in a murder, was also arrested and over Rs1.9 million worth of stolen valuables were recovered.
