IG Punjab formed an inquiry committee to investigate the clash between police and political party workers in Zaman Park.
A two-member committee headed by DIG Sadiq Ali Dogar and SSP Imran Kishore started the inquiry.

The committee will scrutinize the available evidence, CCTV footages and facts, statements of eyewitnesses will also be recorded.
The IG Punjab has given a deadline of three days to submit the internal report after a detailed review of all aspects of the incident.
Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has formed a "Fact Finding Committee" for a transparent and impartial inquiry into the clash between the police team and political party workers in Zaman Park on March 8. DIG Headquarters Punjab has issued a notification for the formation of Durkani Committee. A two-member committee consisting of DIG Elite Force Sadiq Ali Dogar and SSPIAB, Capital City Police Lahore, Imran Kishor will conduct a detailed review of all aspects of the incident and submit a report within three days.
The committee formed under the direction of IG Punjab has started the investigation of the incident from all aspects. It will take a detailed review of other events and facts including the start and end time. The inquiry committee will look into all the available CCTV footages of the incident, mobile records, evidence of Safe City cameras and other videos and images in relation to the injured persons and police personnel in the incident, while political party activist Bilal It will examine the incident of Ali's death from all aspects and the statements of the eyewitnesses of the incident will also be recorded.
