Inspector General of Police Punjab Javed Iqbal put the batches of rank on the shoulders of Aslam Tareen on his promotion and taking over the charge of his new assignment.
Addl. IG Punajb Ch. Tanvir also accompanied the Police Chief. On this occasion Javed Iqbal appreciated the services of Aslam Tareen and hoped that he will not only maintain the traditions of his predecessor Aftab Sultan but also perform his duties devotedly and innovatively.
Moreover, Addl. IG Qalib-e-Abbas took over the charge of his new office of Investigation Punjab, while DIG Zulfiqar Cheema also assumed the charge of his office Elite Police Force.
